Tianna Leon is the Strong Start | Healthy Start Supervisor. Tianna participates in the development and administration of the Strong Start | Healthy Start program including project management, evaluation, and direct supervision of the SSHS staff. Tianna completed her Master of Public Health degree in Maternal & Child Health from the George Washington University in 2018. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Promotion with Nutrition and Spanish minors from Weber State University, and is a Certified Health Education Specialist. Tianna enjoys being able to use her knowledge and skills to help promote healthy birth outcomes and reduce health disparities for infants and families in Ingham County. Ali Rogers (she/her/hers) is the Strong Start | Healthy Start Lead Health Educator. Ali participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of community health education programs and workshops to promote health outcomes and reduce health disparities for infants and families. She also works with the Strong Start | Healthy Start Community Health Workers and Fatherhood Facilitator to provide community resources and support. Ali received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences and Public Health from Michigan State University and her Master of Public Health from Saginaw Valley State University. Ali has a passion for public health education and promoting efforts that are diverse, equitable, and inclusive. Quintin Baptiste is the current Strong Start | Healthy Start Fatherhood Facilitator. Quintin participates in the case management, engagement, and development of African-American and Hispanic fathers in the community. He also develops and hosts a number of community events and workshops designed to connect, educate, and engage fathers. As a graduate of Davenport University, and certified Project Manager, Quintin puts his skills to work to create a healthy and welcoming culture for dads for the Ingham County Health Department Strong Start | Healthy Start Program.
