Becoming a Child Care Professional

Have you ever thought about becoming a licensed child care provider?

There are a lot of children who need quality child care. If you've been looking for a rewarding career,  then consider opening your own  home day care or center.

What are the benefits?

Be your own boss!

Feel good about contributing to quality care!

Set your own hours!

Making a positive difference in the life a child!

The licensing procedure may sound complicated, but it's easier than you think.  Becoming a licensed child care provider helps to ensure that your home offers a safe, healthy, stimulating environment for young children.  We all want that for our children.

At OYC, our job is to support you  through the licensing process and help you receive all the training you need to get you going.  Once you're licensed, we can provide child care referrals to families who need care.

Your first step is to receive a packet from the state Licensing office.  You can click here to download the application.
