H1N1 Mass Vaccination Clinic

The Ingham County Health Department has received an initial, limited supply of 2009 H1N1 vaccine; additional vaccine is coming. The Health Department has identified the following groups, per CDC recommendations, to receive this initial vaccine (Ingham County residents only at this time):

  • pregnant women,
  • household members who reside with infants 6 months and younger,
  • children aged 6 months to 4 years old, and
  • children, adolescents and adults aged 5-64 years old who have medical conditions that put them at higher risk for influenza-related complications.*

*People who have a medical condition that puts them at higher risk for influenza-related complications should bring one of the following (a doctor may also prescribe the 2009 H1N1 vaccine, but it is not required):

  • Doctor's note
  • Medication/empty bill bottle/inhaler that identifies the patient
  • Medical bill or an old prescription

The Ingham County Health Department is holding a H1N1 mass vaccination clinic for the previously listed groups on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ingham County Human Services Building (Entrance #3 on west of the building facing Cedar Street), 5303 South Cedar Street, Lansing.

  • Walk-in clinic; no appointment needed
  • No cost to individual, but any insurance information will be collected
