What is the Maternal Infant Health Program (MIHP)?
The Maternal Infant Health Program (MIHP) is the largest home visiting program in Michigan serving pregnant women and infants up to the age of one receiving Medicaid in Ingham County. Services are a covered benefit of Medicaid and the managed health plans.
MIHP provides support to promote healthy pregnancies, good birth outcomes, and healthy infants. By enrolling in MIHP, families will receive services by a team of nurses, social workers, and dietitians to connect you with the information and support needed to have a healthy pregnancy and baby. The goal of our team is to work together to make sure you receive services to keep you and your baby healthy.
