Seeking Safety is meant for those that have experienced Trauma, have signs of PTSD-Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, or have a history of substance or alcohol abuse. This program is a FREE pre-registered series that will teach ways to separate from emotional pain. The focus of each session will be how to cope when triggers or feelings are strong. This is not a place to share stories.
Background on Seeking Safety:
Seeking Safety is a research-based cognitive behavioral focused group service. This program is beneficial to those that have experienced trauma, PTSD, or substance or alcohol abuse, and to those that facilitate the program. Seeking Safety lessons cover topics such as: how to set boundaries in relationships, asking for help, healing from anger, coping with triggers, respecting your time, and self-nurturing.
